F.A.Q.

This isn’t an exhaustive faq by any means, but covers the general questions we get the most often. The property is versatile, and was selected because of its versatility. We wanted to be able to work with a broad scope of clients, provide the most comprehensive service set in the region, allow for the most simple of events with ease, and the most specific needs of a high level, multi day, vendor intensive event with dexterity. We are happy to answer any questions not listed here!

What’s included with site rental?

If you are renting a space only, then we include tables, chairs, onsite team, and 12-ish hours of time onsite.

If you are renting a/all space(s) & catering, then we ALSO include the following in the per person price:

  • Meal service based on your specific needs/selections

  • Onsite AV/Electrical based on your specific needs

  • Onsite personal service team: servers, attendants, etc.

  • Decor & Additional Props/Rentals as needed

  • Non-alcoholic beverage service & ice

Do you allow outside catering?

We allow food trucks and carts, as well as specific food vendor types for specific event types. We have an exceptional in-house culinary and pastry team who handle all catering needs onsite. However, we respect the needs of each event and work to promote alternative food vendors for service types we don’t provide.

Each outside food vendor either needs to be on our current approved vendor list, or needs to apply to do so. Any outside food vendor is responsible for providing all elements needed for successful service of their food, are not allowed use of our kitchen, and must provide current liability insurance.

Do you provide bar services?

At this time we do not hold a liquor license. We work with licensed bartenders and bartending services for events interested in bar service. In order to serve alcohol of any type onsite, clients are required to use a licensed bartender or service from our approved vendor list, as well as provide a day of insurance policy as the host.

Can you purchase your own alcohol? Yes. See above.

Do you charge your vendors a %

We do not. We also don’t accept kickbacks of any type. We have selected our vendor pool based on the quality, creativity and integrity of their work, and are excited for other small business to have access to our client opportunities. You will negotiate and pay each outside vendor directly. We are happy to coordinate logistics and creative continuity with any vendor connected to your event.

Pet Policy

While we love animals {we have a farm!} we are mindful of what animals come to the property, both for the safety of our guests and for the health and safety of our animals.

If you’re considering including a pet or pets in your event, or your event is pet centered {goat or puppy yoga!} give us a call to discuss. We’re open to just about anything… but safety is always first.

Cake & Cake Cutting

You are not required to purchase a cake from our pastry team. If you do, we will provide someone to cut the cake. If you select a different vendor for your cake, we will cut it, but we require a waiver.

Why?

Because we don’t know what/how the constitution of the cake is constructed or how magical the fillings are. We cannot be responsible for what happens when we cut it.

There is no cutting fee, in either case. Why do people charge that? Silliness.

a few more F.A.Q…

how much time do we have?

How much time do you need? If you’re booking a single day site rental, you’re welcome onsite for 12 hours-ish. Are we flexible? Yes.

We do have a hard time for amplified music at midnight, and tail lights at 2am.

If you are booking a multi-day site rental, the same-ish rules apply.

can we stay overnight?

The short answer is yes. The details of why, how, how many, etc… those all need to be discussed in detail.

We currently have two cottages available to rent, which can sleep 6 each. We have also done campouts with great success.

You are required to rent portable bathrooms to accommodate your overnight guests. We can help.
